End of Year SMARTR Outcome 1 – Reading

By June 2018, our students with disabilities in grades three through six will increase their reading proficiency by 10% from 59% to 65% as measured by the reading SOL.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome 2 – Reading

By June 2018, students in kindergarten through sixth grade who scored below the 39th percentile on the window 1 Universal Screener will make more than a year’s growth in reading as measured by the DRA2.  Students who scored in the 40th percentile or above on the window 1 Universal Screener will maintain or increase their percentile as measured by the window 3 Universal Screener.

Strategy 1—Tier 1 Instruction

We will strengthen Tier 1 reading instruction.

Strategy 2—Responsive Instruction

We will effectively use student data to plan for all tiers of instruction.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome 1 – Mathematics

By June 2018, our Gap Group 3 (Hispanic students) in grades 3-6 will increase their math proficiency by 10% from 67% to 74% as measured by the math SOL.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome 2 – Mathematics

By June 2018, students in kindergarten through sixth grade who scored below the 39th percentile on the window 1 Universal Screener will reach proficiency as measured by an end of year assessment (MRA or SOL).  Students who scored in the 40th percentile or above on the window 1 Universal Screener will maintain or increase their percentile as measured by the window 3 Universal Screener.
