Outcome Based Goals for The Academic School Year

End of Year SMARTR Outcome: Reading |
By June 2021, the percentage of students in the English Learners subgroup in grades 1-2 that will meet or exceed reading benchmark will increase from 35% to 50% as measured by the DRA2 and/or the Universal Screener.. By June 2021, the percentage of students in the English Learners subgroup in grades 3-6 will increase from a 50% pass rate to a 70% pass rate as measured by the Reading SOL. |
Strategy 1: We will strengthen Tier 1 reading instruction for ESOL and special education students. |
Strategy 2: We will strengthen Tier 2 and Tier 3 reading instruction for ESOL and special education students. |
End of Year SMARTR Outcome: Math |
By June 2021, we will increase the percentage of special education students, in grades 3-6, reaching math proficiency from 68% to 75% as measured by the Math SOL and/or Universal Screener (iReady). |
Strategy 1: We will strengthen Tier 1 math instruction for special education students.
Strategy 2: We will strengthen Tier 2 and Tier 3 math instruction for special education students
End of Year SMARTR Outcome: Equity |
By June 2022, 100% of classroom teachers will utilize Language Arts AAP curriculum resources at least once per quarter with their entire class, in addition to monthly AART lessons. |
Strategy 1: Ensure Advanced Academic Program (AAP) curriculum resources and strategies are easily accessible. |
Strategy 2: Participate in professional learning around Advanced Academic Program (AAP) curriculum and strategies. |
