Mr. Sarfo Recognized as the FCPS 2022 Outstanding School-Based Operational Employee
Mr. Berenato, Ms. Belscher, Ms. Vaughn, and Ms. Sugrue Also Recognized at FCPS Honors
Congratulations to custodian Frank Sarfo who was recognized as the FCPS 2022 Outstanding School-Based Operational Employee at this year's FCPS Honors event, held at George Mason University Center for the Arts on June 8th.
The title of custodian does not embody all that Frank is to the Little Run staff, students, and families. Mr. Frank, as he is affectionately known, radiates positivity and has a contagious smile. He can often be found greeting students upon arrival or with a special handshake. He is often heard asking students and staff about their day, their interests and their families. If he observes a student crying or having a difficult time, he is quick to step in with a smile, a hug or a pleasant comment to help turn their day around. His exemplary work effort, joyful presence, and service mindset act as an example for everyone. Little Run is a warmer, more caring place because of him.
Congratulations to our following staff members who were also recognized at this year's FCPS Honors Ceremony!
