FCPS is working on plans to safely bring students back to school for in person learning. At LRES, small cohorts of learners who are in our Early Childhood Class Based (ECCB) Preschool program will be coming back to our school building on Tuesday, October 20th. If your child has been identified to return, our preschool teachers have been in contact with you already.
We are excited about welcoming back our youngest students in a few weeks!
Thank you for your continued partnership,
Monday, Oct. 12 is Indigenous People’s Day. Teachers are working, but it is a holiday for students. No new assignments will be given on Monday.Students Rights & Responsibilities
If you have not done so already, please review the Student Rights and Responsibilities and related resources at www.fcps.edu/srr. After reviewing the information, fill out the SR&R Parent Acknowledgement Form using this link. The form must be filled out one time per student. If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.AAP Information Meeting Recording
You can go online, to our library catalog, and request a book. We will try our very best to get you the one you requested but due to high demand for certain books, and the need to quarantine returned books for 7 days, Mrs. Beaumont may have to choose a different book for you. Either way, we are sure you will enjoy reading about new adventures! Remember to return your books on Mondays and pick up your new books on Tuesdays.
Little Run Town Hall
To continue the conversation from our Woodson Pyramid Town Hall, we will be hosting a Virtual Listening Forum around Equity on Monday, October 19th from 6-7pm via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra to hear directly from our families.
The purpose of this time together is to provide a safe space and platform for our community members to share openly and candidly about the strengths and needs of our community as we continue to work to create a welcoming environment that is supportive of all students and families. We are committed to continuing to grow our partnership with you to address the needs and concerns of our students and families. We look forward to this opportunity to listen, learn, and hear from one another.
If you or your family would like an interpreter, please reach out to Aida Joranko ( firstname.lastname@example.org) by October 9th.Calling all Roadrunners!
The PTA is holding their 1st Annual Roadrunner Online Raffle from NOW through October 31. Tickets may be purchased for $5 each for an opportunity to win amazing prizes. All proceeds fund the PTA programs like Food4Thought, instructional resources for our students and teachers, library books, and hopefully another virtual show similar to the Magic Show!
